...that ALL children are musical. 

...that every child, if given encouragement and a musically stimulating environment, will teach themselves to sing in tune and keep a beat the same way they teach themselves to talk, to walk, to speak. 

...that parent participation and modeling, regardless of ability, are vital to a child's musical growth.  At this age--they all want to be like Mom or Dad!

...that a child's musical growth is best achieved in a non-pressured, playful, developmentally-appropriate environment--an environment where the musical stimulation is rich and varied, but easily accessible to the child...where each child is free to participate and learn is his or her own way.  In other words, it should be fun!
